Most “audit my setup” prompts grade the rules a project wrote down. That is the wrong unit: a rule no gate enforces is the most common and most dangerous illusion of safety. This contract makes the auditor run the gates rather than read them, hunts the high-leverage mechanisms most projects lack (a low-friction kill switch, negative controls that prove a gate fails for the right reason, control over who can quietly weaken the rules, a calibrated reviewer that abstains, a route for failures to reach a named owner), and returns a ranked, reuse-what-you-have plan. Its governing discipline is one line: more rules nobody enforces is negative value.
