Dispatching a builder agent with a chat message gets you a plausible diff that solves a slightly different problem. This is the written brief that replaces it, distilled from a lane where a second vendor’s agent ships bounded fixes under a judge that never builds. The load-bearing lines are the ones that look bureaucratic: the hard scope stop, the report-up clause (born from a dispatched agent surfacing a wrong-premise suggestion straight to the human, bypassing all verification), and the round-trip rule – review findings go back to the builder that wrote the diff, because it still knows which alternatives it already rejected.
